What is Bubble Alumina Brick( alumina hollow sphere brick) ?
Alumina bubble bricks are made of alumina bubble balls and alumina powder as the main raw materials, combined with other binders, and fired at a high temperature of 1790 degrees.
Alumina Bubble Brick contains more than 90% Al2O3 and is a lightweight refractory product mainly composed of corundum. Al2O3 and the appropriate amount of clay and bonding agent are used as raw materials, and gas-blowing agents are used in the preparation stage. The product has good high-temperature structural properties and can be used in industrial kilns at 1600~1800°C.
Compared with the traditional alumina hollow sphere bricks, the ultra-lightweight alumina hollow sphere bricks produced by our company have the following characteristics.
1.Low bulk density, the bulk density of traditional 99% alumina hollow sphere bricks is at least 1.5g/cm3, which can fully reduce the weight of the furnace body, save materials, save energy, and save costs compared with traditional products.
2.Compared with the traditional bulk density of 1.5g/cm3, Al2O3 ≥99% alumina hollow sphere bricks have good thermal shock stability.
3.Low thermal conductivity, only 30% of the traditional products, the thermal conductivity of the hot surface of the traditional bulk density of 1.5g/cm3, Al2O3 ≥99% alumina hollow sphere bricks at 400°C is 0.78w/(m·K), while the thermal conductivity of the hot surface of our company at 400°C is 0.26w/(m·K), its insulation effect is 3 times that of the traditional, the same furnace layer thickness can make the cold surface temperature lower, more energy-saving, or it can make the insulation layer thinner.
4.It can be directly used in the working layer of the kiln, and has strong resistance to the erosion of hydrogen fluoride in the calcined anode material kiln.

The advantage of Sunshine Bubble Alumina Bricks
1.High operating temperature
The working temperature can reach above 1750 degrees, and the thermal stability is good. The re-burning line change rate is small, and the service life is longer.
2.Optimize the structure and reduce the weight of the furnace:
The high-temperature resistant materials used now are all heavy bricks with a volume density of 2.6-3.0g/cm, while the alumina hollow sphere bricks only have 1.1~1.5g/cm. With the same volume of one cubic meter, using alumina hollow sphere bricks can reduce the weight by 1.1-1.9 tons.
To achieve the same use temperature, if using heavy bricks, the price is comparable to that of alumina hollow sphere bricks, and a considerable amount of refractory insulation materials are also required. If alumina hollow sphere bricks are used, 1.1-1.9 tons of heavy bricks can be saved per cubic meter, and 80% of refractory insulation materials can be saved.
Alumina hollow spheres have obvious insulation characteristics, low thermal conductivity, can achieve good insulation effect, reduce heat dissipation, improve thermal efficiency, and thus achieve the purpose of saving energy. The energy saving effect can reach more than 30%.

The application of Bubble Alumina Bricks(alumina hollow sphere bricks)
Bubble Alumina Bricks(alumina hollow sphere bricks) and their products are a kind of high-temperature resistant, energy-saving excellent lightweight refractory material, which are very stable in various atmospheres. Especially for application on high-temperature kilns at 1800°C. Hollow spheres can be used as high-temperature, ultra-high-temperature insulation filler, lightweight aggregate for high-temperature refractory concrete, high-temperature ca-stable, etc. Alumina hollow sphere bricks can be used for high-temperature energy-saving (>30%) flame-inverted kilns, shuttle kilns, molybdenum wire furnaces, tungsten rod furnaces, induction furnaces, nit-riding furnaces, etc. For reducing the weight of the furnace body, transforming the structure, saving materials, and saving energy, all will achieve obvious effects.
